વડોદરા, ૫ નવેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૬: ભગવાન બિરસા મુંડાની જન્મજયંતિ નિમિત્તે જનજાતીય ગૌરવ દિવસની ઉજવણી ૧૫ નવેમ્બરે વાઘોડિયા રોડ પરની સુમનદીપ વિદ્યાપીઠ ખાતે થશે. કલેક્ટર ડૉ. અનિલ ધામેલિયાએ તૈયારીઓની સમીક્ષા બેઠક યોજી.

Vadodara's district administration will observe Janjatiya Gaurav Divas on 15 November at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth on Waghodia Road, marking the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The release says only “the 15th”; Janjatiya Gaurav Divas is observed on 15 November, the day Birsa Munda was born in 1875.

What is planned

  • Cultural performances showing tribal culture and traditions, including traditional dances.
  • Honours for talented young people and achievers from the tribal community.
  • Distribution of benefits under government welfare schemes.

The review meeting

District Collector Dr. Anil Dhameliya chaired a meeting of officials from the departments involved to review preparations. He told officers to arrange the programme carefully and to coordinate between departments so that assigned tasks are finished on time. Resident Additional Collector B. S. Patel and Tribal Development Officer Krishna Nakum were among those present.

The event is Vadodara's part of the statewide Janjatiya Gaurav Saptah, 11 to 18 November.
