મોરબી, ૩૦ ઓક્ટોબર, ૨૦૨૬: મોરબી જિલ્લાના ખેડૂત હંસરાજભાઈ હડિયલે રાજ્ય સરકારની તાર ફેન્સિંગ યોજના હેઠળ ₹૧,૮૦,૦૦૦ની સહાય મેળવી ખેતર ફરતે વાડ બનાવી. અગાઉ જંગલી ભૂંડ અને રોઝ (નીલગાય) પાકને નુકસાન કરતા હતા, હવે પાક સુરક્ષિત છે.
Hansrajbhai Hadiyal, a farmer in Morbi district, has fenced his field with ₹1,80,000 of assistance under the Gujarat government's wire-fencing (tar fencing) scheme, the district information office said on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Before the fence, wild boar and nilgai (blue bull, locally rojh) regularly got into his field and damaged his crops. Since it went up, the crop has been protected and the losses have stopped, and he thanked the government for the support.
About the scheme
The wire-fencing scheme helps farmers put up fencing to keep wild animals off their crops. The state has recently widened its reach, Anand's in-charge minister said at the PM Kisan Utsav Diwas function.
