The NWR notification is dated October 15, 2026, and Western Railway circulated it on October 16. The train runs under the Railway Board's Train on Demand (TOD) category, subtype Pooja, and charges special fare.

Stops in Gujarat
Coming from Ajmer, 09621 enters Gujarat on Tuesday morning and stops at Vadodara (05:20), Surat (07:40) and Vapi (09:24) before reaching Borivali and Bandra Terminus. It passes through Godhra without stopping. On the return, 09622 reaches Vapi at 19:37, Surat at 21:15 and Vadodara at 22:51 on Tuesday night, then runs on to Ratlam, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara and Ajmer.

Booking and unreserved coaches
Western Railway has asked its database team at CSMT to open reservations for 09622 on October 18, 2026 at 08:00, so tickets from Bandra Terminus, Borivali, Vapi, Surat and Vadodara can be booked through IRCTC and PRS counters from then. The letter does not give a booking date for 09621 from Ajmer, which is handled by North Western Railway. The general and SLR coaches run unreserved; those tickets are issued through UTS and charged at superfast mail/express rates. The train will be shown in NTES for running status. The notifications do not list fares; since this is a special-fare train, fares will be higher than those of a regular mail/express train.
