North Central Railway (NCR) will run a weekly festival special train between Prayagraj (PRYJ) and Asarva (ASV), Ahmedabad to clear the extra rush of passengers, according to an NCR notification dated October 15, 2026 that Western Railway circulated on October 16. The train runs via Udaipur City and Himmatnagar under the Railway Board's Train on Demand (TOD) category and charges special fare.

Stops in Gujarat
The train has two halts in Gujarat. From Asarva it leaves at 08:45 on Thursday and stops at Himmatnagar (10:30) before crossing into Rajasthan at Lusadiya and Dungarpur. It reaches Udaipur City at 15:05. On the way in, 04165 stops at Himmatnagar at 04:15 and arrives in Asarva at 05:45 on Thursday morning.
For Ahmedabad travellers the train also works as a daytime link to Udaipur, Chittorgarh (Chanderiya) and Bundi, and an overnight one to Agra, Kanpur and Prayagraj.

Booking and unreserved coaches
Western Railway has asked its database team at CSMT to open reservations for 04166 on October 19, 2026 at 08:00, so tickets from Asarva and Himmatnagar can be booked through IRCTC and PRS counters from then. The letter does not give a booking date for 04165 from Prayagraj, which is handled by North Central Railway. The general and SLR coaches run unreserved; those tickets are issued through UTS and charged at superfast mail/express rates. The train will be shown in NTES for running status. The notifications do not list fares; since this is a special-fare train, fares will be higher than those of a regular mail/express train.
