North Central Railway (NCR) will run a weekly superfast festival special between Prayagraj (PRYJ) and Valsad (BL) to clear the extra rush of passengers, according to an NCR notification dated October 15, 2026 that Western Railway circulated on October 16. The train runs under the Railway Board's Train on Demand (TOD) category and charges special fare. It serves south Gujarat at Valsad, Navsari, Bhestan (Surat) and Vyara.

Stops in Gujarat
From Valsad, 04190 leaves at 20:00 on Monday and stops at Navsari (20:25), Bhestan (21:05) and Vyara (21:55) before entering Maharashtra at Nandurbar. Bhestan is on the south edge of Surat, so passengers from Surat city can board there; the train does not stop at Surat main station or Udhna. On the way in, 04189 reaches Vyara at 15:15, Bhestan at 16:30 and Navsari at 17:00, arriving in Valsad at 18:00 on Monday.

Booking and unreserved coaches
Western Railway has asked its database team at CSMT to open reservations for 04190 on October 19, 2026 at 08:00, so tickets from Valsad, Navsari, Bhestan and Vyara can be booked through IRCTC and PRS counters from then. The letter does not give a booking date for 04189 from Prayagraj, which is handled by North Central Railway. The six general coaches and the SLR coaches run unreserved; those tickets are issued through UTS and charged at superfast mail/express rates. The train will be shown in NTES for running status. The notifications do not list fares; since this is a special-fare train, fares will be higher than those of a regular superfast train.
