અમદાવાદ, ૨૮ ઓક્ટોબર, ૨૦૨૬: અમદાવાદના ચાંદખેડા સ્થિત ONGC કેમ્પસના ઓફિસર્સ ક્લબ ખાતે યોજાયેલા મેગા રોજગાર ભરતી મેળામાં ૧૯ ખાનગી કંપનીઓએ સ્થળ પર ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ લઈ ૧,૨૫૭ ઉમેદવારોની પ્રાથમિક પસંદગી કરી. મેળા સાથે સ્વરોજગાર માર્ગદર્શન શિબિર પણ યોજાઈ.
A mega job fair at the Officers' Club, ONGC campus, Chandkheda, in Ahmedabad ended with 1,257 candidates shortlisted after on-the-spot interviews, the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department said on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. 19 private-sector employers took part.
The Assistant Director (Employment) office, Ahmedabad, organised the fair with the All India ONGC OBC/MOBC EWA Association, Ahmedabad, led by its chairman Deepak Prajapati and secretary Piyush Parmar.
Jobs on offer
Engineers, diploma trainees, technicians, fitters, electricians, welders, machine operators, sales and field executives, telecallers, relationship managers, helpers and trainees, and nursing and medical staff.
Help for those starting a business
A self-employment guidance camp ran alongside, covering government schemes, business opportunities and what it takes to start up. Assistant Director (Employment) M.R. Sahni explained the services employment offices offer and the related job portals.
