આણંદ, ૨ નવેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૬: આણંદ જિલ્લામાં સ્પા અને મસાજ પાર્લરની આડમાં નશીલા પદાર્થોનું સેવન અને ગુનાહિત પ્રવૃત્તિઓ થતી હોવાનું ધ્યાને આવતાં અધિક જિલ્લા મેજિસ્ટ્રેટ રાહુલ ગમારાએ જાહેરનામું બહાર પાડ્યું છે. હવે દરેક પાર્લરના સંચાલકે તમામ કર્મચારીઓની સંખ્યા અને ફોટો સહિતની વિગતો નજીકના પોલીસ સ્ટેશને આપવી પડશે. આ હુકમ ૨૪ એપ્રિલ, ૨૦૨૭ સુધી અમલમાં રહેશે.
Every spa and massage parlour in Anand district must now give its local police station full details of everyone who works there, including the number of employees and a photograph of each, under a notification issued by Additional District Magistrate Rahul Gamara and announced on Monday, November 2, 2026.
Why the order was issued
The district administration said it had found that some parlours in residential and industrial areas were being used as cover for drug use and other illegal activity, and that anti-social elements were committing crimes there that threatened public safety and peace. The notification is meant to help the police act effectively and prevent any untoward incident.
What it means for parlour owners
- Applies across the whole district, in both residential and industrial areas.
- Operators must file staff details with photographs at the police station covering their area.
- The order is in force until April 24, 2027.
- Anyone who breaks it is liable to punishment.
