સુરત, ૩ નવેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૬: પૂર્વ સૈનિકો અને સ્વ. પૂર્વ સૈનિકોના ધર્મપત્નીઓના જે સંતાનો સુરતની શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓમાં ધોરણ ૮ કે તેથી ઉપર ભણે છે, તેમના માટે સુરતના 'ગૌરવ સેનાની ભવન' ખાતે નવું કુમાર છાત્રાલય બન્યું છે. પ્રવેશ માટે જિલ્લા સૈનિક કલ્યાણ કચેરી, સુરત પરથી ફોર્મ મેળવી શકાય છે, અથવા ૦૨૬૧-૨૯૧૩૮૨૦ / ૯૪૨૬૮૦૨૮૨૦ પર સંપર્ક કરી શકાય છે.
A newly built boys' hostel at Gaurav Senani Bhavan in Surat is taking admissions for the children of ex-servicemen and of the widows of ex-servicemen, the District Sainik Welfare and Resettlement Office, Surat, said on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The notice was also published for families in Anand district.
Who can apply
Sons of ex-servicemen, or of their widows, who study as regular students in Class 8 or above at an educational institution in Surat. The hostel provides accommodation and meals.
How to apply
- Collect an admission form in person from the District Sainik Welfare and Resettlement Office, Surat.
- Fill it in and return it to the office promptly.
