Real estate agents play a vital role in connecting promoters and buyers under the RERA framework. Every agent operating in Gujarat must have a verified Agent User Account on the Gujarat RERA 2.0 portal to register, renew, and manage their projects and transactions.
Who needs this?
- Agents facilitating sales or purchases of RERA-registered real estate projects
- Agents applying for new registrations under Gujarat RERA 2.0
- Agents registered earlier in RERA 1.0 who want to claim and migrate their profiles to the new 2.0 portal
All agents—new or existing—must have an account on Gujarat RERA 2.0 to access registration, renewal, and compliance features.
Prerequisites
- Active PAN Number of the individual or firm
- Email ID and Mobile Number for OTP verification
- Entity Type — Individual, Proprietorship, Partnership, LLP, Company, Trust, HUF, or Government Authority
- Supporting KYC documents (to be uploaded during account setup)
Note: Agents already registered under RERA 1.0 must use the Agent Claim 1.0 option to migrate their data to RERA 2.0 without creating a new account.
Agent Signup — Step-by-Step
- Open Portal → Sign Up
Visit the Gujarat RERA Portal, click Login, then Sign Up. Select Agent as your user type. - Enter Contact Details
Provide your email address and mobile number. Select Agent from the dropdown menu. - Verify via OTP
Enter the OTPs received on your email and mobile number. This ensures active and valid contact information. - Enter Entity and PAN Details
Choose your Agent Type (Individual, LLP, Partnership Firm, Company, etc.) and enter your PAN Number. The system will auto-fetch your name and entity details based on PAN. - Enter Partner or Director Details
Depending on your entity type:- For Companies – Add Directors
- For LLPs or Partnership Firms – Add Partners
- For Trusts, HUFs, or Government Authorities – Add Applicable Members or Authorized Persons
- Upload Required Documents
Upload all mandatory documents (ID proof, address proof, registration certificates, etc.) as per the entity type. - Create Account
Review the details and click Create User. Your account request will be sent for verification to Gujarat RERA officials. Once approved, your Agent User Account will be activated.
Login Method: Agents can log in using their registered email ID and password on the Gujarat RERA 2.0 portal.
For Existing Agents (RERA 1.0 Users)
Agents who already have a registration under RERA 1.0 should not create a new account. Instead, they must click the Agent Claim 1.0 option and complete the following steps:
- Enter their RERA 1.0 Agent Email ID and PAN Number
- Authenticate via OTP
- Review and update any missing or incorrect details
- Click Submit to migrate their data and create their RERA 2.0 account automatically
Once migrated, agents can log in using the same email ID and manage all RERA-related compliance and renewals under one account.
