Gujarat RERA 2.0: Engineer User Account Creation (Step-by-Step Guide)

Engineers working on Gujarat RERA–registered real estate projects must create a one-time Engineer User Account on the GujRERA 2.0 portal to submit construction progress certificates and quality reports online.

Who needs this?

  • Engineers certifying Form 2 – Engineer Certificates for project progress
  • Engineers reviewing onsite construction quality (Form 2A – Quality Certificate)
  • Engineers appointed as Structural Engineers for RERA projects

All such engineers must be registered once on the Gujarat RERA 2.0 portal before performing these duties.

Prerequisites

  • Valid Engineering License Number issued by a recognized authority
  • License Issuing Authority (choose from dropdown while signing up)
  • PAN Number for verification
  • Active Email ID and Mobile Number for OTP verification

Note: Engineers registered with IEI(I), GICEA, or ACCE(I) can only file Form 2A (Quality Certificate) — they cannot register as Structural Engineers or file Form 2, which requires registration with a Planning Authority or Municipal Corporation (as per CGDCR).

Engineer Signup — Step-by-Step

  1. Open Portal → Sign Up
    Visit the Gujarat RERA Portal, click Login, then Sign Up. Choose Engineer as the user type.
  2. Enter Contact Details
    Provide your email address and mobile number. Select Engineer as your user type.
  3. Verify via OTP
    Enter the One-Time Passwords (OTPs) sent to your email and mobile. This ensures accurate, active credentials and enables GujRERA notifications.
  4. Enter License Details
    Provide:
    • License Issuing Authority
    • License Number
    • License Validity Date
    • PAN Number
    The system will auto-fetch your details for faster registration.
  5. Complete Required Fields
    Fill in all mandatory fields (marked with a red asterisk “*”) to complete your profile.
  6. Create Account
    Click Create User to complete your Engineer account setup. Once approved, you can access your dashboard to submit forms and certificates.

Login Method: Engineers can log in using their registered email ID on the RERA 2.0 portal.
